I agree with that analogy actually. It makes a good point, but if that were to happen I would still argue that she is a child! As crazy as what she did was, it in no way negates or lessens what happened to her. Assuming you are a grown-up, you should understand there is(typically) a difference between the reasoning of a teenager and that of an adult. We all make bad choices at times in our lives but the younger we are, the more wreckless our choices seem to be. I agree that running off to another state to meet a person you don't know is pretty extreme wreckless behavior and can't say that I would have ever done that. However, you have to take into account we know nothing about what her home enviornment was.....perhaps what our parents made sure to teach us was not taught in her home.
