Appeals court says ABQ voter law legal

A federal appeals court has ruled an Albuquerque ordinance that requires voters in municipal elections to produce photo identification is constitutional.

All I have to say about this is: Yey! And thank God for even small steps like this in preventing voter fraud! Photo IDs are required all over the place, to cash checks, use credit cards, etc. People manage to do that just fine when they want money--why are some fighting ID requirements in order to protect the extremely important issue of being guaranteed a valid election!
