How tragic. What was the mother thinking? I hope she spends the rest of her life in prison over this.

But for justice to be served she needs to be locked in a car so she "roasts" to death too. That way she knows just how her defensless child felt!

You forget, this is NM, where the justice system is all about INjustice and those who do serve some time forget upon release as the door closes behind them.

I agree completely! I just heard a news report. She took her four year old in with her and left this baby to fry for three hours. 2 hours after the incident they did a temperature test and said the upolstry got to 128 degrees and the dash 135. She also had, sadly, four children!

COME ON PEOPLE! There is no excuse for this CRAP! If you are not going to take care of ALL of your children, give them up for adoption. Give them a chance to grow up. This is re friggin diculous. Take care of your children. They are the future.

These welfare dolts are paid to breed, so they have so many kids they forget about some.

It is a tragedy that a little baby suffer such a painful death. Not all people on "Welfare" are as mindless as this mother was.. to make a statement like you have, I think you have been left out in the sun too long..

No not all of them do, but many do see each child as nothing more than a pay raise. If a person goes on welfare they shouldnt be allowed to have kiddos until they can stand on their on feet. If they do they dont get more money.

Great idea. But look at where it happened. Nothing is going to happen to that person, and I use the term loosely.

Who in their right mind leaves a child in a hot car for that long?! This happens every year; do people not get it? Tie her tubes so she can't do this to another baby.

I don't know the entire story behind this, but I remember many years ago while I was stationed in AZ, a woman got up to go to work, put her child in a car seat and was so rushed, she actually thought she dropped her kid off at daycare and left him in her Car and sadly he also died from heat, also not long after that incident a man at Luke AFB was taking his son in a care seat to daycare and while loading things into his Car, he placed the car seat on top of the car and forgot he left his son on the roof and drove off, luckly the child was only slightly injured.

I guess what I'm trying to say is these things happen, and I'm not sure if they are all done out of out right neglect or abuse.

This "mother" didn't forget her child. She had an appointment and took her 4 year old inside with her and left the 2 year old out in the car.

The news stated that Child & Family Services has been dealt with the family in the past but wouldn't say why.

Yep, you can't remember one child and forget the other. I think she thought the two year old would be too fussy and I'm guessing she realized it would take more than a few minutes. If it was just an appointment to drop off documents or ask a question, she would have taken the two year old as well.

Frankly, if a parent is too distracted, or whatever, to forget they have a child in the car or forget to put them in the car, they shouldn't be parents.

She either intentionally left the child in a closed vehicle on a hot day, or forgot and did the same. Either way a precious life has left this earth due to the stupidity of an adult. IMO there is absolutely no excuse that can be made for her action. It turns my stomach to even hear about this.

With Mars and Saturn working in harmony, you'll find the support you need through friends or associates. Someone pitches in to help which will let you take a concrete step towards achieving your goals. There could however be a cost in terms of your emotional and domestic life because of what you're doing. Has responsibility taken you away from those you're close to? Try to make things up in another way.
