I had several problems with the office; the Dr. and the office not being prepared to do work and then billing us for the office visit, performing work that they knew the insurance would not cover (silver fillings vs tooth colored fillings) and not informing us of the fact. I asked for credit on some bills but was denied, so patient satifaction is not a high priority at Sierra Dental.

I guess with a new office comes higher bills and they passed those along to the patients. Looking for a new dentist...

I did find it interesting that she advertised in the Christian "Yellow Pages" and then was allegedly frauding patients.

I recently went to Dr. Jaime for a tooth that she worked on a few months ago. It has been sensitive and I wanted her to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with it. I'm pregnant so they couldn't take an x-ray. I just got notice from my insurance co that they billed for the x-ray anyway. I was in the chair for about 2 minutes total and listened to some empty excuses as to why my tooth feels this way. I felt that she just wanted me out of her hair. My 2-minute visit ended up costing almost $100 dollars, which I have not paid yet. I intend to fight this one. She has made a lot of money off me and my family. We too, were not informed that our insurance co wouldn't cover the white composite fillings until after all was said and done. We're VERY unhappy and we're searching for a new dentist: one that we can trust!

I like to give dentists the benefit of the doubt but having moved here recently, and live near this business, I opted to take my children there: ages 6 and 3. My children mainly saw the dental hygienists. I was charged for dental films (under the wrong child) and without these same films, the hygienist was unable to verify with certainty that my 6 year old did in fact have these so-called cavities. Both the hygienist and the doctor claimed he had 4 cavities. Furthermore, why charge someone if you put a contraption in the mouth for $44.00 for less than 1 minute? My husband being a doctor of audiology understands this, but also to some degree, understands it is pricey and wasteful to the insurer while using up said inventory in hopes of milking the insurance provider for said services that were not actually provided.
After leaving the dentist, I went to a school function, and I got an ear full of this particular dentist. They were trying to be nice but everyone was warning me to steer clear at the same time. Whew! What a sad moment. Is this person a good dentist, I have no idea, but from what I have heard ... you might think twice or thrice ....

I went to a dentist for several years and quit for various reasons. I went to another guy who's name is Davison up on Montgomery. He's a real -hole but a very good dentist and his office and staff a great.

I had enough of hi attitude and went back to the firt guy a couple years ago.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jaime's for over 2 years and she has a great bed side manor, I have had no problems with my fillings and a crown, that she did. My son has had dental work from her and, again there has been no problems with the work. This is my experience and I am sure there are many more people in the community who have had a great experience with her office. I wish her the best of kuck and hope she remains my dentist for future fillings, crowns , cleanings.

I recently moved to Albuquerque and needed to find a dentist. Dr. Jamie had a very lovely website, which is what attracted me to her practice. The first time I went, they found two cavities during my cleaning. When I came back for the fillings, they "amazingly" found two more, for a total of 4 fillings!!! I also had 5 sealants placed, one of which fell out the same night, so I had to go back again to get it fixed. I also got a nightguard made because I grind my teeth, and I had to come back 4 more times because of their mistakes in making it(total of 7 times in about 1.5 months). The billing was a mess and the receptionist could not answer my questions about why I was paying more than I was told it would cost in the fist place. I decided to go back for another cleaning 6 months later because my insurance only covers x-rays once per year, so I couldn't go to a new dentist yet. Again, they found two cavities...one on a tooth she had just filled six months earlier, and one behind an old filling. Several times, Dr. Jamie and her staff made comments about how *I* chipped the filling because of my teeth grinding (not because of her shoddy work, of course). If I've been grinding my teeth for years, why haven't any other fillings chipped? I was told I wouldn't be charged for the re-do filling, yet at the end of the visit, I was charged $111!! When I asked about the charge, I was told that there are several surfaces of the tooth and that she re-did the occlusal surface and had to do the lingual surface as well, so I was charged for one surface instead of two. Every time I go there, I get charged for way more than I expected. DO NOT GO TO DR. JAMIE! She will milk you and your insurance company for all that she can.

I went to Dr Jaime at Sierra dental in good faith to get a tooth extracted. Well she literally drilled that tooth out taking A LOT of bone, than extracted the root. After paying her office almost $350.00 (my part, so my insurance probably got billed close to that amount!), I had to go to an emergency dental office to take care of post surgical complications to the tune of $450.00! To say I am unhappy is putting in mildly. I don't believe I will be able to get a bridge or a partial because of her drilling out so much bone, unless there is away for that area to be rebuilt! I can't believe she is still in business. DO NOT GO TO DR. JAIME!

Some dentists will claim a cavity just to make money off of you when in reality you probably have healthy teeth. So PATIENTS BEWARE OF DISHONEST DENTISTS WHOSE AIM IN LIFE IS TO BECOME RICH AT YOUR EXPENSE OF LOSING HEALTHY TEETH!

WOW she is a great dentist. they have a top notch facility, awesome customer service, work with me when i have a large bill. I love Dr. jaime, seen her for about 3 years and my mom and sister and nephews are her patients as well and never had any problems with the quality of dentistry or the bill. I am saddened by what people can post on the internet about others. Anyway, great dentist!!!

DO NOT GO TO DR. JAMIE! Patients inform your insurance company before and after each visit with dr. Jamie. She owes a lot of money to her patients due to over charge and taking advantage of every patient. She performs very poor dental work and drills healthy teeth more than she needs to, that way patiens return for more dental work and in the end most of the patients need crowns and all the most expensive treatments.

Think twice :(

Daily Horoscope for February 13

Gemini

This is a good time to take stock of your actions and the direction you're going in. Are your efforts getting you anywhere or leading you astray and scattering your energy? If you're putting in the work but not moving forward, you're not on track. The old adage 'cut your coat according to your cloth' is good advice. Be simple and purposeful and don't waste time with things that get no practical results.
