Shiprock murder suspect to appear in federal court

Soooo, the fireworks exploded, then he exploded and went off?

This murderer needs to be locked away the rest of his life!

That was my dad that Passed. okay,in the begining Clay told the FBI he dont remember what happened..so how does that go from not remembering to what hes saying now? he is trying to lie his way out of this situation he put himself in. Also who wouldnt get angry if somebody shot off fireworks towards you and your vehicles that early in the morning. When my dad went around the corner to see who it was Clay was already standing there with that Rifle in his hand waiting for somebody to come to him. So there is no way for Clay to say it was "Self Defense"..and at the end he told everybody "He will be back to kill them all"..The FBI needs to be professional and do there JOB right.

How severe does a crime have to make it to the papers? I bet no one knows about the shooting that happened at NNMC few weeks ago. Well, sorry for your loss Reckell. Hope he goes away for ever or a very long time.

Sorry to hear about your dad, Reckell and you have to stay strong for your mom. This was a good man that left his family so soon! He loved his family and friends and would protect them anyway he can. Just like he protected the US while he was in the Military!!! So i hope this murderer rots in prison. So sorry Reckell just hang in there sweetie!

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. Your hurt is shared by many. I hope you are surrounded by many loving relatives, supportive good friends and know you can cry on shoulders and receive prayers.

Take care and I hope your family gets justice. This will affect you your whole life, but it does not have to affect you in a bad way. Incredible hurt, pain and suffering have a way of making you a stronger, better person if you allow your healing to be focused on the positive, forgiving and the fact that you will see your dad agains someday.

Reckell, we're related...your grandpa is my brother. I am lost in angry and in disbelief since I heard of what happened to your Dad. My prayer goes out to you, your family and grandparent...stay strong and be with your mother, she needs all of you now.

i'm sorry for your lost Miss Morgan. Your father didn't deserve this. I know he was a great friend to my family. i wish the families of the others involved a speedy and healthy recovery. MY prayers are with you and all the families. To the man who was clueless and selfish, the law will decided to what to do with you!!

What kind of circus is being run at the Shiprock detention facility when a suspected murderer can escape from jail the same day he is arrested? Thank God we have the FBI so that the incompetent tribe is not letting murderers run around free.

This guys seems like the typical trouble maker that thinks he can do as he pleases, just because he lives on the rez.
I hope they lock him up for life!

The Police Force and Judical System need to beef up and the new incumbent President (Navajo Nation) needs a positive approach toward strict enforcement toward crimes like this. Come on people lets get something going lets get involved in the political area we need more voices. Don't be shy!

if this Clay guy did this to my relative, Clay would go missing forever.

They'll probably let him run loose just like what happened to someone we knew who was murdered by his girlfriend. Yet this woman is still on the loose. I hope justice prevails for your father and also for the person I knew. Murderers need to be locked up or executed.

It still doesn't change the fact he is a cold-blooded killer.

He did something wrong we all know that but I'm just saying he isn't a bad person. Reckell isn't an angel either. Yea I am sorry for her lost but my point is there is to sides to every story.

It still doesn't give anyone a right to take someone's life, regardless of who started what.
