Where can one find the best Indian or Navajo taco in ABQ? Any dives or restaurants that make them good? Cheers.

Nice thick dough with lots of choices to top off your Indian taco. It's on central just over the river heading west...

In town, none I've ever found. On the road into Jemez Springs - oh yeah! Any of the roadside stands, fry bread<sigh>... Its a bit of a drive but a great way to meander about and get a good meal at the same time.
And of course during the St fair in the Indian village.

I guess Indian Tacos are not too popular, CornDogz, since you had to go back 2 years to revive this thread. But, I agree with you: a drive up to Jemez Springs will make my mouth start watering as I near those fry bread stands by the red rocks. But, i always wait until I've had a bath at the Bath House. Then I can justify a couple of fry bread laced with honey. BTW: I recommend the 25min bath for $12. The 45min bath will make you too weak to drive home.

I just replied, the person in post #3 revived it. I didn't even notice the date though, oh well, some things never get old, like Indian Taco's!!

Very good friends with his dad and Uncles. Just opened his Brazilian street food/ New Mexican Restaurant up recently. Helped him remodel the kitchen / electrical back in March. Some good food, not just the Indian tacos. Very original! Near my other fav restraunt, the Monte Carlo steakhouse.

Reminds me of a joke. Old Indian man who's never had pizza in his life finally gets served a pizza with everything on it. He yells, "hey who threw up on my fried bread".
