John Hummer should be upset at himself for the abuse of state monies while our school teachers are taking pay cuts.

Top 10 frequent flyers (cost per person)1. Johnny Cope - Commissioner -$241,063
2. Diane Denish - Lieutenant Governor -$149,103.49
3. Bill Richardson*- Governor -$124,297.34
4. John Hummer - Commissioner -$105,420.96
5. Jim Franken - Commissioner -$47,713.41

We have a large deficit in this state. One way to lower it would be to sell off these aircraft, rent out the hangers if they are ours or quit paying rent. Lay off the crews, mechanics and pilots and let these self important clowns drive like the rest of us. These jets are way, way too expensive to own, maintain, insure and operate. There is such a thing as video conferencing. I would venture to guess that 95% of these "very important" meetings could be conducted this way.

Hummer is all about himself, do you really think he cares about teachers, they are just the little people in his eyes.

Lack of integrity in so-called "public servants" soundly highlighted once again.

Thank you to the whistleblowers and investigative reports. Keep up the fine work with these exposés!

Just our luck we get someone from Las Cruces who misuses government money. Santa Fe already looks down on southern NM.

If Denish wins we will have at least 4 more years of this despicable corruption.
Can't stand the way Hummer tried to joke his way out of taking a golf trip at our expense.

State policy is being ignored by Highway commissioners, Fat-ass Billy Richardson, and his side kick Diane Denish. Denish said that she is exempt from the state aircraft policy according to the report.

This is typical of this administration and is not the only "policies" not followed by the Richardson cronies in state government.

Video conferencing - Hmmm, technology our inept legislature is just now becoming aware of, Lol... Just goes to show you how far behind the rest of the world NM is and our obsession with unnecessary flying.

BTW, your point is well taken on selling off the fleet and eliminating all the amenities. Drive or adopt VCing. But then they'd probably whine about the lack of electricity

I thought her camp said she was "unaware" of the regulations. Hmmmmmmmmm......let's see, she's been Lt. Governor for 8 years and she's unaware she is violating state law? Doesn't say much for her awareness of our state. I gotta say, her latest ad had me scratching my head. It states she was a single mother for several years. I'm not knocking single mothers in the slightest but it's very telling that her camp think it's something to brag about. I also cracked up when I saw her response to Martinez's plan to end corruption in our state. Denish said something to the effect, she wants to put people in jail and we want to get them jobs. Talk about a Freudian slip!
