I certainly hope they recycle the smashed guitars in some way - adding that to the landfill would sure be a shame.

my granpa used to get out of work, take his guitar and play old songs, he'd be singing those old, old songs. I have no idea what happenned to his guitar after he died all I know I still remember some of those old songs. Happy songs.

I don't get it. How does destroying perfectly good musical equipment help to raise money? I think anyone who would pay money to do this has got to have a screw loose. Personally, I would rather just donate the funds WITHOUT destroying a $100 item in the process...

I just can't understand the minds of those who get enjoyment out of smashing a musical instrument. There should be more positive ways for a fund-raising event.

I agree with clueless and Norio. Why not destroy something that should be destroyed such as going around the city and pulling weeds at a penny a weed. Bet they could have earned thousands this way!!

I agree, they could have opened up the rock 'n' roll hoochie brothel. That would have attracted some business.

Actually the Guitars were beyond repair. Warped necks and bodys etc. So they would require complete rebuilds. Music Go Round would have had to throw them out.

Believe me it was totally fun! A great way to raise money for some kids that need it!

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Taurus

The Moon enters Aries and your twelfth house of secrets, marking the beginning of your lunar low cycle. It's time to slow down a bit, take your time, and go easy on yourself. Avoid going out tonight unless you absolutely must; it's better to spend time alone over the next two days. It's time to recharge your spiritual batteries again and prepare for the new cycle by pampering yourself!
