She is doing what is good for Alaska and will run for president most likely, but I am not entirely sure she even wants that. With her, there really is a higher calling and that is family and God, then country. That may give you a better insight to her mind.

Of course she wants to concentrate on the money from her book deal and speaking engagements, since she said the Governor's Office is too stressful. Plus, she may have been threatened with a big pay to play or embezzlement scandal: as in, resign and we'll drop the charges.
Sure, she wants to be President. And she needs extra time to study up on why people collapsed in laughter at her in '08. If she does run, she'll be a bit more prepared to spout some talking points, after all she has more than three years to memorize them. But people will see through her. If the stressful Governorship of Alaska was too hard to bear, how could she handle the Presidency?
Maybe she will get the nomination from some little religious right splinter party, but even the Republicans are barfing at the sight of her.
God save us from this uninformed self-centered woman.

The way the media either crucifies people or glorifies them, I don't see why anyone would want to be in public office. The media have ruined the lives of so many people, and when their accusations have proven to be wrong, you never hear apologies or anything from them.

Sarah is in way over her head as it is. She's was a failure as a mayor, a mother and governor. If she is tricked into running for president, she'll be the worst sacrificial lamb to slaughter since micheal dukakis. She should take the money for the book deal and go hunt moose.

I believe she is just a "quitter". She ups and leaves when things get too tough. I don't think she has gone a full term with any job she has had, has she?(outside of pregnancy of course)

Yeah like Obama is doing such a great job. He is turning this country into a socialist, police state without morality, under the guise of tolerance. He is no christian, he is a muslim, working for Islam. I support Sarah all the way. She has more integrity than Obama has in all his fake speeches and made up gestures of peace. You do know that the anti-christ will destroy many by peace {or tolerance}. Obama is already on that path, destroy all in his wake.

No he is making friends with long held enemies of America and the west, I should say trying to. Those enemies do not understand weakness, I could imagine he would be friends with Stalin if that were possible. As far as raiding other countries, were we to sit on the couch, like a lazy bum and do nothing. Would we have been better off saying bad terrorists, you just murdered thousands of lives, but lets sit down and understand you. Maybe you won't want to murder us anymore. If she is being truthful, and she is using "higher calling" the way most spiritual people use the phrase, I kind of expect her to become a protestant minister. Maybe she will become a televangelist and satisfy some of the speculation that she is seeking to become richer. Televangelism would be a "higher calling" in her circles; enable her to have a national bully pulpit and influence votes; and also become stinky rich, not to mention give her a terrific tax shelter.

In 2012 she'll run for President as an INDEPENDENT since more and more people are shedding the Democrat and Republican party's. As such she'll have a VERY good chance of winning too.
