Two curious things about Spitzer that the media has really kept quiet for him:

1) why did he look the other way when he received information that Judge Linda Jamieson has received very significant and numerous unlawful political contributions from trial lawyers who practice before her in White Plains, in direct violation of NYS Bar Assn ethics law; maybe because lawyers and judges are above the law in New York State; a closed guild that protects itself at all costs

2) why was Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, lawyers for Capital Group / American Funds of Los Angeles, sponsors of the mega fund Investment Company of America, giving big chunks of political contribution money to Spitzer while they were under investigation and responding to charges by the California State Attorney General for improper soft dollar brokerage; did he look the other way here in New York in exchange for the political donation money ? check the NYS Board of Elections website disclosures - it was quite a lot of money they gave him; silly question ?

just to clarify if needed - it was their client Capital Group / American Funds, sponsors of the mega fund Investment Company of America who was under investigation and responding to charges - their law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher gave the donation money; look at the NYS Board of Elections website, its there in black and white

about the first matter, the illegal contributions given to Judge Linda Jamieson - in fairness to Spitzer, he was not the only one who it was reported to. It was also brought to the attention of at least two other judges in NYS, including the State's Chief Judge, Judith S. Kaye. Did any of them do anything about it ? NO, OF COURSE NOT ! OF COURSE NOT !
