Spirit AeroSystems: Tornado did not affect customers

With The Spirit plant in Chanute, Kansas jobs from Wichita could be sent there.And employees from Wichita, too! Did you know the city of Chanute put up several million dollars just so Spirit would put the plant in their city( to be there 10 years without having to pay any taxes) but then the city of Chanute turns around and doubles taxes on other businesses that have been there and in operation for years.

they don't currently have the facilities in chanute to support all the work spirit wichita does.(they do build small parts and assemblies for us) We managed to overcome being struck by an ef3 and are back on schedule A full day ahead of our recovery schedule! we are an awesome team at Spirit Wichita!
