Cissy Houston 'Did the Best I Could' with Whitney Houston

Cissy has nothing to be ashamed of her daughter was grown and made decision she may or may not have regreted but they was hers and not moms, we often stop litsening to our parents once were grown cause we think we know it all but we don't. We often litsen to the wrong folks and not mom or dad especially if we know we have good parents.I still litsen to my mom although she is deceased, I try not to do anything she wouldn't approve of.

Cissy has everything to be proud of.Cissy is right she accomplished a lot.It is so nice to see a mother hold her head up and say she is proud when so many people ae saying negative things.I saw pictures of whitney the night before she died .He skin was strikingly clear.Skin tells a lot about people.Cissy regardless of whether whitney was broke or not she had every right to spend it all because she earned it all .Cissy, think of it this way, she modeled,sang, was a movie star,travelled the world and befriended princes.She did so much here on earth,god probably needed herin heaven.

Because of the intimate attachment that parents have with offspring, parents seek to identify themselves through their children. Because of this identification, Cissy naturally wants to focus on the good.

I'm sure as a mother Cissy did the best she could do. The love between Cissy and Whitney was deep and the bond was undeniable. Whitney's mother is not responsible for Whitney's choices and although Cissy did acknowledge her deep disappointment (even devastation) regarding Whitney's drug use, it would be in error as the parent of a public figure to deny the fact that drugs are illegal and criminal, crack and cocaine and abuse of prescription drugs can and will kill, and financing narcotics is illegal and irresponsible!

I believe it is extremely important in this case to be very careful about what kind of messages are being delivered to the public and children!
