Door to Door in Disguise: At the Peak
of his popularity, in 1984, Jackson went door-to-door to proselytize for
the Jehovah's Witnesses,
the church in which he was raised.
One woman told Taraborrelli: "A young black man came to my door wearing what was obviously a phony mustache and beard, and a big hat. His face was too smooth for all that facial hair. He looked like a little boy playing grown-up." The next day one of her neighbors informed her that the Jehovah's Witness had been Michael Jackson.

Well, I surely hope she accepted what the "little boy" had to offer her and listened to his knowledge because he was a child of God bringing her the truth, and this was his only vital purpose that day.

if that freak had come to my door, I'd have chucked a bucket of slops over him.

I've had encounters with Jehovah's Witnesses before. The first couple of times it's because I didn't realize who they were until they started talking about Jehovah. I just let them talk and took the book at the end. I still have it to this day.

From then on I usually just pretend I'm not home if they knock on the door. If one came to my house and somehow I knew it was Michael Jackson dressed up to look like someone else I think that's the only time I would answer the door and stand there through the sermon again. But I think I might have trouble holding in laughter knowing it's him in a silly getup and probably putting on a fake voice.

Ask any Jehova's Witness to pledge allegiance to the flag.

Pooof! They're gone.

That reminds me of a South Park episode wherein the "true" path to God is revealed. Saddam Hussein is portrayed as Satan's kitten-friend and the new arrivals to hell are given a sermon about what the right religion was.

Michael never understood the notion of revenge. He would say " I can not understand what people can get out of revenge...Why would someone want to make somebody else to pay for something wrong he thinks he had done to him?"

No, he had the likes of Anthony Pellicano do to things like that on his behalf.

Goodperson - I am sure he had some good qualities. However, there are many pitfalls for a true Christian in the entertainment industry. Even decades ago he made an error, as our literature notes he admitted:

"“I Would Never Do It Again!”
In another popular video, Thriller, the performer is seen to transform first into a “cat person,” then a dancing “monster.” Evidently not wanting viewers to conclude that it promoted spiritism, the film begins with the disclaimer:“Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this film in no way endorses a belief in the occult.—Michael Jackson.” Nevertheless, it was so realistic that some who saw it admitted that they were horrified at first. What was this short film intended to convey? And how does the performer, Michael Jackson, feel about it in looking back?
“I would never do it again!” says Jackson.“I just intended to do a good, fun short film, not to purposely bring to the screen something to scare people or to do anything bad. I want to do what’s right. I would never do anything like that again.” Why not?“Because a lot of people were offended by it,” explains Jackson.“That makes me feel bad. I don’t want them to feel that way. I realize now that it wasn’t a good idea. I’ll never do a video like that again!” He continues:“In fact, I have blocked further distribution of the film over which I have control, including its release in some other countries. There’s all kinds of promotional stuff being proposed on Thriller. But I tell them,‘No, no, no. I don’t want to do anything on Thriller. No more Thriller.’”" - "Awake!," 5/22/84 article entitled "What about music videos," pp.. 19,20.

Don't be fooled by that. Michael had a vindictive streak a mile wide. He could carry a grudge a long way. He was still sweet in his own way but he was not sainted. Sorry. Cheers!

It would behoove you to LISTEN to what they have to say and READ the book along with your Bible. Better yet, let them STUDY the book with you and you will greatly benefit if you take it seriously.(Isaiah 48:17, 18)
