His name was used in an advertisement. It personally addressed 50 cent. There is no confusion about who they meant. They used him to advertise. Did they ask his permission? No. Did they compensate him? No.

50 cent is 2 quarters, 50 pennies, 4 dimes and 2 nickels, so forth and so on. Should he be sued for using the name 50 cent? I do believe that term was used long before he came along.
