As for "black power", blacks did that because they don't know what country they come from. If they did, they'd be yelling "Nigerian Power" or "Ghanaian Power". But as it stands, they only thing they know they have in common for sure is being black. And who the hell goes around yelling "black power" these days anyway? What is this, the '60s?
You, on the other hand, have the luxury of knowing your heritage, where your people come from, which makes yelling "white power" kind of unnecessary. Besides, what "power" do you need? The phrase "black power" came out of a time when blacks had little or no power. No black public elected officials, no voting voice, etc.
So what "power" are you yelling for when you yell "white power"? What are you lacking?

well champ, if you really stop to think about it the white WORKING male in america is a fastly growing minority. the white man has had every thing for so long and oppressed every one for so long that noone seems to notice or care that a working class white male gets looked down upon for anyhting he does to try and better himself. so if you really want to know what im lacking, how about my mom who died when i was seven from cancer, my dad who would never have married her and helped raise me if not for his dad kicking him in the ass? hows that for starters? DOnt speak to me about lacking, i know what it means to go without. However i also know that others are worse off than i am. I am sick and tired of the general populace of america looking down upon me for having a job and busting my ass to try and get somewhere in life. Am i on welfare, no. do i use drugs, no. do i spend my mommy and daddys money on dope and booze and fornications with loose women, no. i go to work every night at a gas station,(and so help you god say one thing about me working at a gas station, then the seven furies of hell could not save you), and i people with mommy and daddy's credit cards and the brand new cars, and the abercrombie and bitch clothes and it disgusts me, because i have to work for a living. im 20 years old and every night i see guy and girls black and white alike coming in to get their frickin cigarillo so they can go smoke their happy sack of pot. im sick and tired of these warts on society living it up because they have a mommy and daddy who give them evrything they ever ask for, and then they never know when they have to quit taking and start giving back.

as for the black power/ white power example, it merely illustrated my point in the double standard of racist inequality that stands and rears its ugly head so proudly in america.

As far as my lineage is concerned, im a full blooded american. I dont get special grants and loans set aside for me just because the color of my skin or what hangs between my legs. If you were born here in america, then you are american. when will people realize that? in order to claim yourself a citizen of this america we're so proud of, you have to denounce all other loyalties to any other sovreign nations, hence making you american. im not an anglo germanic american, im simply an american. black people are simply americans, yellow people are simply american. if youre born here or you have a citizenship here, you a frikckin american. get over it or leave the country and take your propaganda with you.

First, why all the vicious reactionism against Whoopi Goldberg? Damn. I think she is wrong about Voting Rights...I have heard other people say that and they are confused.

Nonetheless I hardly would consider Whoopi to be racist, and in fact she is very talented and has done a lot of good in the media, promoting programming which portrays both blacks and women in positive light...

And that bit she did in the early days about the airline stewardess still cracks me up when I think about it...

Boo hoo if Whoopi pushes the envelope a bit and offends your touchy sensibilities. Whoopi is making people think, without coming across like a strident radical like Rosie was doing.

As for slavery...why attempt to rationalize or soft-pedal it? If slavery didn't SUCK BIG TIME, then why do black people hate it so much? Because they know from family info passed down how BAD it was. I don't support any hate group and don't think all blacks or all white are racist. However I would like a even playing field, if one side uses a certian word the other side gets to use it too without anyone getting mad. That would be the real test of racism.

I for one do not watch anything unless Auto racing or Sports is on any network. Otherwise I would not watch them at all. This is yet another reason to watch something else or nothing at all!

I for one will not watch another Whoopi Goldberg movie and I do not care how funny I hear it to be. Simply because of her being So Vile against people, I want nothing to do with her, or anything she is Associated with!
