I think it depends what your in the move for.

For instance, Summer Movies for me is purely for entertainment. I am not looking too much for plot, or hidden meanings. I just want to zone out for about 1hr 30mn.

Sometimes you do get the best of both worlds, and that is how you get a great movie.

I agree. I don't like horror films at all!!! But I love blood and guts when Quinton Tarantino does it! lol But I also love a good cry every once and a while:)

Action, suspense, twists, a little bit of subtle humor is what makes a good movie to me.

C/S! Haven't you noticed that nowadays, horror movies are more focused on violence rather than scaring the pants off of people? I watch horror movies to be on the edge my seat, have my heart pounding and on edge for whatever about to scare us but, they aren't as scary as they used to be these days.Quentin Tarantino has those weird blend
of violence/comedy movies that are just interesting to watch.

Also, I think a good movie is good if it's interactive as if you were actually apart of the action and suspense going on inside the film.:)

A movie that's easy to love: Pulp Fiction. Samuel L. Jackson was the man in that film.

A good movie for me is one that has a lot of genres, so action, romance, drama the works. A bad movie is something that's usually really pointless. Like thsoe really crap 'comedy' movies or horror movies that's just guts and gore :/ I like something a bit more thoughtful too.

Favourites -- Pan's Labryinth, The Usual Suspects, Seven, The Breakfast Club etc.

Worst -- That dumb Paris Hilton one? Hot or something. Yeah :/
