Lace Front Wigs Are Ridiculous

That's not true I myself am a cancer survivor and when I lost my hair the social worker offered me a wig from locks of love and I refused,plus looked better with short hair to guys atleast.Now I have all my hair back,but bought a full lace wig because I wanted a different look not because I hate my hair.I never thought I'd buy a lace wig but all those celebrities wear them,and for once in my life I felt I deserved the best.Though I find black women look better with short hair styles than any other.You are living proof of reincarnation no one can possibly get to be so stupid in just one life time since"black women hate their hair I guess white women like "paris hilton,Ashlee Simpson,Jessica Simpson,etc hate their hair as well,But after all most white women get breast and butt implants,But who am I to say why they get them since I'm not a white woman.Here's a word of advice.Turn of the computer,and read a book you sound silly.

We all get things done for different reasons Anna,who are you to say why black women wear weaves since your not one...even if you was you can't speak for all of us since we all get them for different reasons.

When are black women going to start sporting their own hair? Jennifer Hudson has very nice natural hair and although it may not be as long as say... Heidi Klum - it's still beautiful. She should sport it more instead of having a head full of weave glued around the edges of her head.

The wig looked ok in the front but the back was a mess with all the glue on the back of her neck!

I'm very insecure,which is why I feel better putting black women that feel comfortable wearing their locks natural even the ones that decide to relax,or weave their hair.GRRRR I envy black women that can afford to look and feel good about themselves.Its funny that I'm typing all this crap but between you guys and I.I would get my locks done in a heart beat if only I could afford it.I'm nothing but an angry women and an ignorant one at that.I apologize to all black women because women like me give all women a bad name.A true education is ones intelligence plus character I know that I lack both.I will do everyone a favor and drink a nice cup of "SHUT THE HELL UP"

Actually they are not that expensive. As more and more non-celebs have become interested in lace wigs, you can find them reasonably priced on ebay and other web sites, as low as $100.00---brand new and often custom made for individuals.

Of course the less expensive they are the poorer the quality of the hair, but I would highly recommend that anyone interested start with a cheap lace wig for experimental purposes before buying the $500 or more ones.

I have noticed some wig stores are starting to carry lace human hair wigs and synthetic ones too. This is good and it is just a matter of a few years before market demands make lace wigs even more accessible to more people. Also, I hope that more stores will go back to stocking full wigs and less half wigs!!!!!

One thing that I find curious is that once on America's Next Top Model, Tyra stated that she wears a weave, but it was actually a lace wig. I wonder why she didn't want to admit what it was? Was she embarrassed? Is there more of a stigma to wearing a wig versus a weave?

Paris Hilton is coming out with a line of hair extensions soon. Janice Dickinson wears hair pieces and possibly lace wigs too.

Why should one be embarassed to wear weaves,I think a black woman weather her hair is relaxed or not will be able to win against a white woman any day.1)Most black women have beautiful skin from light(but have color) to very dark(smooth skin).2)some of them have beautiful full lips,small nose,or broad(their noses arent extremely pointy unlike some other groups)3.)They have very exotic features and last but not least they have great figures that no woman not even latinos can touch"as some claim"one thing I find good with black women is although some may be skinny atleast they have a shape but with most white women that are skinny they don't have much of a shape.So what's not to like about a black woman?Its amazing how people complain about black women wearing weave but once someone of a different ethnic group is wearing them people don't make a big deal about it."the copy is never good as the original"so I guess you can say that black women win this one since its proven that black women are the least to go under the knife to get breast implants,lip injections and what not?.......asshole.

well i didnt lose.my WHITE husband loves me with my natural hair, no its not down my back but any man who pass me is guaranteed to look and wish. As a matter of fact his ex wife, a white woman, lost to me and i constantly have to deal with her jealousy shown towards me and my beautiful children and their natural hair and skin complection. and anna i feel sorry for you and your jealousy as i do for her.
