Why are so many African-American men gay?

Absolutely, cant jdge a book by its cover. I pray to God and ask him to keep me aware.I dont go for effiminate guys gay or not.its safe to stay away from them.However I keep in mind some masculine ones are gayer than gay.I agree.

How do you know this? I know some black men are on the DL because being gay in the black community is a no no for some reason that I still dont understand. But how do you know they're secretly gay?

Actually, I see more gay males than females among both blacks and whites.
I suspect females are a bit more discreet

Actually, I wonder why there's so much emphasis on Black men who're on the "DL". America has a homophobic culture. And I suspect that gay people--white, black, asian or what have you--are often on the "DL" or in the "closet" to avoid scorn, discrimination and even violence.

I short, I think they conceal themselves for reasons like unlike why light skins blacks sometimes pass for white--to escape persecution.
Until us straight folk become a little more tolerant this problem will continue.
Perhaps we need to examine ourselves more, and judge them less.

First of all, the actual number of gays overall in the U.S. is very small. An even smaller percentage of that are AA men. GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE WITH THIS SMEAR-CAMPAIGN!!!

We had 1 AA guy get in trouble in Iraq for making propositions to other guys (oddly enough he dated mostly asian women before and after going there)

and of two people who came up HIV positive, both were African American. Supposedly the region from baltimore to Atlanta has a really bad strain of HIV that's hitting young black men very hard.

When I visited New York city a black Africain American man beated me up in the train and stole my money. He tried to rape me, but I placed my feet in his face. Like it was not enough, he shited in my face before he left. That was discusting. I think he was a drug addicted. I think the president should clean the city.

I have to say young black mothers teach their young boys to act effeminate. The put their makeup on their little boys they put them on their wigs, they make them use the toilet like girls, make them prance around in their heels, and they talk about black men badly like the sadbuttrue chick so when he grow up he'll have a bad perpective on what it means to be a black man. He will believe those stereotypes black women & the media portray on us. They wouldn't want to be a man after how Blk Women speak so harshly about us, so I guess some have a serious case of vagina envy. My mother works in a nursery for 20yrs. and work with kids the age of 4-7yrs old. So that's how I KNOW!! She tells me!! Black Women know this true i'm open for any rebuttled from any black women!!!
