We have constantly posed this question to black women and white men. How do white women feel about this issue?

1 I know because I have dated several white men, the evil stares and snide remarks from white women that I have recieved, out-number those even from black men. |
I'm wondering if white women are actually less vocal, or has the question never been posed in a public forum or the media, where they could express their views on the subject. |

1 The disapproval of seeing their same race opposite sex with someone of another race is evident in some not all black women, black men, white women and yes white men and this is especially true if the same-race opposite sex person is someone that the disapproving person finds attractive themself. I do find the reaction to IR couples varies by race. I find that more black women and black men are simply more outspoken about their dislike of IR while whites pretend to be more layed back about their disproval that is simmering under a cooler exterior. Where some black women will roll their eyes at and/or make a loud remake about bm/ww couple and announce public that white women are stealing all of our black men, white women will give me and my white boyfriends icy, blinkless stares and some white women have told me that they disapproval of interracial dating/marriage as though their person prejudices should influences who I should and shouldn't date. Some white men who are about to explode with anger upon seeing a attractive blonde on the arm of a tall well-built black man, will still but on a politically correct personality and act with a capital as though he is perfectly find with it. |

2 You already stated that you only date white men so why are you trying to back the idea of the black man dating whomever. You obviously dont see any woth while qualities in you own sibblings (brothers) or your father, grandfather, uncles, cousins etc that you could look for in other black men, which is awfully sad. Stop creating these forums to make your self feel better about what you do. |
No disrespect intended, but Tippi did create this particular forum. I did. And, I do appreciate her comments as well as yours. |
Look, I am only stating the truth and making suggestion for sisters who want marriage and stability but can't find it with black men. |
Sometimes Black women look in the wrong places. I know plenty of black women that will turn away well suited brothers as friends because they think that their weak, comapared to other black men because they're a little more street. I don't really knock sista's dating white men,. However, i get the impression that some black women date they to either get back at black men or because they think only white men are resposible or financially stable. Is their any tuth to that? |
I meant to state that Tippi did not create this forum, I did. |

1 I keep hearing other black women complain about not being able to find a good working, responsible black man yet I hear other people like yourself saying that their are plenty of them but black women are really only looking for the black bad boys, yet these same black women will go to white men because they seem more stable and financially secure. So which is it? Do black women want the bad boys or the secure men? |

1 I am a white woman and could care less what makes it rock for a couple. It's all about whether you connect with the person. Of course that doesn't mean there won't be obstacles to over come. Like peoples prejudice. Hey if you like each other I say go for it! |

1 Whose Truth? Yours? My grandparents have been married for 35 years, aunt and uncle married for 19 years, cousin married for 6 years...all black couples. I was married to a half black and white woman but I divorced her. There was too many problems with her having identity crisis. Feeling not black enough or how to understand me or where I came from. It was something I knew wasnt going to last but I gave it my best shot. You will find out that no one understands you better than your own people. |

1 The real truth...Your truth.. Just like your kids that are fatherless by your own admision, nearly half of all black children are fatherless. That is what truth is.. That is why so many black women end up rasing the kids alone. |

1 Ohhh... She didn't feel black enough !!! or didn't understand you ! But you gave it "your" best shot ??? Sounds like it's all about you ! |
Personally, I like, what I like to call them "renovated thugs". Renovated thugs are Black men that was raised in a povershed lifstyle, but are working hard to change the stereotyped outcome of Black men via obtaining adequate education and so forth. |
He didn't say he wasn't there for his children, as a matter of fact he didn't say he had children at all. But what you are saying is true and to be honest with you I think it's more than half; which is sad. |
But once they have made that transition and in many ways,is leading a white-collar lifestyle, will you still be attracted to them. |
My true as I know it. Now was your ex-wife's mother white or was it the father that was white? I will tell why I asked after you told me. |
