How come italians are so racist againts blacks?

I myself am not black, but my son is half black and very dark skinned. Getting to the point of my post, my son and i were visiting new jersey a couple of weeks ago and it was cold as hell, almost about to snow. We were waiting for a taxi but it was taking forever so we asked this italian man if we could wait for the taxi in the lobby of his motel. the asshole said no way and to get of his premises. I could not believe it my son was crying that's how cold it was. As we were walking away he and some of his italian buddies started to yell profanities at us such as you fing n lover, your stupid fing n son against blackall sorts of awful things. so i'm wondering why are italians so rascist aginst blacks?

I can tell you something about italians. they are the most racist and ignorant people in the whole world; you shouldn't get upset,instead you should laugh at them while they call your son names, and remind them how good the arabs were with their grandmas back in 652a.d.Them ladies must have loved that black flavour because half of italy is black even though they say is because of the sun.... U can't fight ignorance(I tried ) so laugh!!!

Specifically I don't know if Italians have anything against black except for the culture difference and maybe the stereotypes. If you haven't notice Italian males love black females lol. My grandfather is one of them. I'm Italian on both my parents side and I don't see any problems within the families.

And to be honest with you in my opnion I thin French, Germans and any other weatern Europeans. Seem to only like their kind...they stick up for each other and bump everyone else.

If Italians aren't making money they will hate you lol.

Oh please Italians are just like americans. You find some who are and other who aren't stop going around lying through your teeth. My grandfather told me that the only reason why most Northern talians are racist is beacuse of the African immigrats.

They go over there and commit crimes, steal just like here in america. They come in illegally and don't even bother to adapt to the culture more specifically learn the languages. So therefore that will cause a problem.

Hey thats not true. I have alot of Italian friends and neighbors that adore black people.
But they do have some nasty as$ new york attitudes tho, but to me their nice and kool people.

Not true in all cases because my hubby is italian and his family in the stated and in italy LOVE me. I love them they are very sweet and accepting of me and our relationship. So its not ALL italians. Now my hubbys step-father who is white from mississippi HATES me but..he also dislikes my hubby because he is "to dark" but we dont care...we love the haters!

Italians are White people of Mediterranean ethnicity. So you are asking why are white people so racist against blacks?

They are ofcourse not all racists but they are way more racist compared to other EU countries.

On this very board, there are topics that say "Are italians black," "Do italian men like black women?" "Italian women are sexy" etc.

There are countless black people singing their praises and saying how amazing italians are.

It's sad really. You people don't even know the truth. Italians are more racist than Germans becaus italians are insecure about their race.

spaniard are worse. you should see the racist heckling that black players from english football teams endure when they tour spain.

With Italians, thing is they and the greeks arent the lightest euros around, and italians particularly are really brown the further south you go. When i visited milan they all thought i was from sicily or greek lol. Irony when they found out i was indian, they couldnt believe it- they assumed indians all look like apu! lmao

you crazy I don’t know in what plant you live ? Italian are the most raced society and the poorest of Europe country. I THINK HITLER WAS ADOPTED FROM ITALY

That's what the majority of the world thinks but i know it's not true. india is home to like 40 ethnic groups.

I've posted this before. A lot of italian americans are insecure about their genetic history. They hate the idea that at some point in the past they came from a history of a mix with africans. The ones from new jersey are the most insecure. To the point that they add "Oh, by the way...I'm white! to almost every sentence they speak. A lot of them mimic the stereotype lifestyle of true white people as if so no one confuses them with nothing else. I knew this sicilian guy in jersey who married this irish woman (sexy woman-I wanted her!) and after, he always used her last name and stopped using his natural born sicilian last name as if he was ashame of his sicilian background.
