Why do white people act black?

Because they have an identity crisis and suffer from cultural cringe (when you hate everything about your own culture but like someone elses culture)

I also know it's due to the popularity of AA hip hop culture but I think it ultimately has do with what I said about cultural cringe above. I mena white people got have their own culture but are seemingly dissatisfied by it probably because it's not as popular as our culture. As a matter of fact and as you should white people have always secretly coveted various aspects of black culture not just Afro-Am but Egyptian, Nubian, Ethiopian, Nigerian culture. As a matter fact white people copy everything! They lack creativity and originality to start their own culture so they imitate and steal whatever they can from us as well as other cultures call it their own. If I may add, white people have imitating black people since the beginning of our history. When white people were first educated by us black folks in ancient Kemet, the whites their were so captivated by our culture that they began to imitate evry aspect of us like wearing dreadlocks, dressing like the women and etc. Therefore you could pretty much say that this was wiggerism in it's earliest form. It's rather sad but yet perplexingly funny why whites copy our, dress, slang, mannerism, music styles, and spiritual traditions. I especially hate when those wiggers and latinos keep saying the N-word in their everyday speech like they're black. Jesus, it's so upsetting and worth breaking sh*t over. Just learn to be satisfied with your own culture and leave ours the f*ck alone.

Frankly,white people embarass themselves when they try to front like they are Boyz in the Hood when they really come from very privileged communities.
Yet I will add that in a time when many white kids are turning to white racist groups like Stormfront and National Alliance,I would welcome a fighting force of white youth who would FIGHT racist whites,not only in defense of Blacks but to build an anti-racist white culture that is deeper than the fake hip hop posers they curently think represents "real"Black culture.
I am old enough to remember white kids kicking ass for Black Studies at San Francisco State back in 1968 along with the Black Student Union and Third World Liberation Front.Nothing wrong with having a few John Browns in the struggle.

Well hip hop culture was started by black people so wen white people take that culture and adapt it into their everyday life THAT is acting black.

But some white people have grown up in predominantly black neighbourhoods and have predominantly black frineds so they cant really be said to be acting black its a way of life for them right? I'm not too sure bout that but it seems to make sense like if a black person grew up around white people then they would be acting have more of a white way of thinking

I hate it when I see a white girl trying to act and dress "black"....and I absolutely dispise seeing a white boy doing the same... we don't play that where I am from...if you are white and didn't grow up with us you can come to the swats, but you better act like you got some sense....some good sense.

White people who "act black" are often poverty stricken and marginalized. They have a propensity toward ADHD and low academic achievement (like 'Eminem' or whatever his name is who failed his grade in school three times). Lots of tattoos and criminal tendencies also accompany acquired Ebonics (only one form of grossly substandard English). There is a Jerry Springer-esque tragic aura about white people who "act black". For some it is a grasping-at-straws attempt for attention, or a way of thumbing one's nose at fellow whites who have so marginalized and impoverished them. In rural counties down South, a sort of segregation persists in which private schools were established in the late 1960s for white students who could afford the tuition. They still exist, though blacks who can afford the tuition often attend now as well.(These blacks are accused of "acting white".) The "poor white trash" cannot afford the tuition, are shunned by the whites in the town or county, and attend overwhelmingly (often 95%+) black schools. It is no wonder these unfortunate youths speak in Ebonics and "act black".
