Why do so many black men abandon their kids? (no white trolls)

I'm 27 and have no kids yet. When a lot of women meet me, they seem surprised that as a black man I don't have kids yet. I know children are prob the biggest responsibility a person can have in their life and I'm simply not ready to take it on atm. This attitude reflects that I don't want to abandon any child of mine, yet a lot of my fellow bros are quick to get a girl pregnant and then abandon the child.

This is a question to other black men that know anyone that has abandoned their kids and haev been around this situation. What's the main reason .

Describe your fellow "bros"? I find a lot of these women don't even know who the father is. Also a lot of women lie about one man being the father, and eventually tell him.

other black men. I understand situations like that exists, but there also are a lot of situation where a guy knows he's the father and still bails. How can we do that to our seeds when a lot of us come from single parent homes and have grown up seeing the damage it causes?

also, the thread isn't about those of us that don't want or have kids, it's about those that do and don't take care of them. Statistics show that 72 percent of black children grow up in single family homes. 7/10 men are bailing on their kids after seeing the harm it has caused us for decades. I don't get it and I'm looking for more insight into the reasons behind this.

A lot of those stats are false. You can only record the money. If the parents go to court and say they want child support. There are fathers that kick the mother money all of the time. Single family doesn't mean the mother doesn't have a boyfriend or the father never sees his children. Let's not forget about the women that got pregnant on purpose to trap the father. When he doesn't want a relationship with her. He tries to "punish" him by keeping the child away.

Understandable, but it seems like you're trying to turn it around on the women and are trying to dismiss the notion or fact that a lot of black men don't take care of their kids. Is it good to be ignorant and to not own up to what's going on?
