The US needs a leader who will not bow to a culture of fear that targets Muslims just because of their religion. For you to think that discriminating against a certain minority in the US is un-American, and that type of action is a sad part of our past. Obama is simply saying that if he gets the choice, that sort of discrimination will not happen in the American future under his watch.

As for the breakdown of the family unit, I see more of that among white people! Single mothers and absent fathers are not a racial thing, you find that in all societies of every color. Most of the African American Obama voters DO NOT expect anything special once he's in office-they do, however, hope for a change in the American atmosphere, and an end to the general fear of their culture by the majority of white American society. I have met no one who expects laws passed that would benefit only their race alone. Give it up already, you're just making uneducated guesses at this point.

You regard rap as black culture? Do you have children? My children are white and they listen to rap. You deny the truth, which is what liberals do. Look at stats on the black unwed birth rate, prisons, drop-out rates.

I am not worried about laws regarding race - that is just stupid. I am worried Obama hates America. Believe me, his loss in WV is nothing compared to what will happen in November. There are many Americans who love our country.

I am also concerned about Obama's relationships with communists. I guess you will deny that also.

In his books, Obama admits attending "socialist conferences" and coming into contact with Marxist literature. But he ridicules the charge of being a "hard-core academic Marxist," which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes.

However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank."

You obviously didn't read my post very clearly, since I stated that most white kids do listen to rap. I never said anything about denying any "truth", as you call it. What is your proof that Obama hates America? It makes no sense for someone who hates their country to run for its highest office! Think about what you say before you post!
As for the communist connection, is this the 1950's? Is communism still a threat to this country, if it ever really was? The short answer is no, and if you're still afraid of communists, then I'm scared of anyone you would vote for! Race is a social concept based upon a small number of physical characteristics and ethnic prejudices. There is no biological black or white past the pigment in a person's skin. What we traditionally designate as racial characteristics only account for about 6% of human genetic variation. There is more difference between two whites than between whites and blacks or blacks and asians. Depend where you live. In Cuba, the child takes the race of the father. There are people who look black but are classified white, and vice versa.

On my business trips there, they were always amused at how we considered those we Americans call black were in their eyes "coloured" They claimed we had few if any true blacks living in America.

Obama isn't likely to get his vision to come together. He's still taking shortcuts to achieve success. The idea is good but he has to name the root cause for what ails this country.

I can name it. The current generation possesses a vast immaturity about their place in the world. We are the inheritors of the post-WW2 windfall profits of our parents generation. We don't know what we can do to maintain the standard of living that we've grown accustomed to while keeping a respectful place in the world community.

Obama, like every other politician, isn't willing to identify the bitter pill that we must swallow before we regroup and get our affairs back in order. It's not going to be easy.

The oil economy that we've known all our lives is disappearing so fast, we won't see a trace of it twenty years from now. Imagine a world without cheap, throw-away plastics. Imagine our industrial systems returning to railroads and centralized, urban manufacturing in such a short span of time that our suburbs become lower income housing while our urban centers become the lifestyle of choice again.

Everything is about to change. You can't stop it. At least try to plan for it. And while you're at it, why don't you carry your smug, racial-purity a## out of here?!
