That is the only reason for any type of identity crisis We dont technically fit into society we are still considered muts or half breeds by the government not fit to have our own race. I personally identify more with my black heritage but I totally feel like just what I am a mixed person! most people think I am puerto rican or hispanic of some sort and they always ask me what I am? I say I am bi-racial with white and black, but I still wish we had an official name!

Why do you think so many black people are so light skin? So, if you are mixed with black you are black, no questions asked! If you think at all that you can experience the white culture your wrong! Ok, I know there nice to you, but they do that becouse they dont want to make you feel bad. In there eyes your not equal even if they smile in your face!!
You do get better treatment when you look more like them, becouse that makes them feel comfortable. By the way if you didn't know white people are very scared of black people.
I understand why it is so hard for you to except the fact that you are Black.
becouse black is seen as negative and people look and treat us different. The road is much harder and you have to fight the struggle to get to the top of any thing. I guess it makes you feel better to know that your half of the dominate race, it might even boost your self-esteem but at the end of the day you must face reality..... your Black!
