It's a community center and it isn't on Ground Zero and these aren't the Muslims who are responsible for 9/11.

What are you talking about? Im talking about the concept and its end effect. The only reason I bring up constitutional rights, is that in this whole mosque debate, no one ever challenged the fact that muslims have every right to build it. Your preceived notion that white christians are all the evil in the world, shows a clear bias and prejudice. Blood has been spilled in the name of religion for thousands of years, and it wont stop anytime soon. One thing is for sure. Vatican wastes no time to distance themselves and all of its peaceful followers from extremists, in incidents like those in Northern Ireland for example. Perhaps that is why, most intelligent people dont associate a common christian with a terrorist. I feel that islamic leaders have not done enough to distance themselves from islamic extremists, and a recent study shows half the population in 14 muslim countries support terrorist acts as long as they are carried out in the US, or western world.

Something THAT could be a valid comparison, is that in recent past, there was a plan to open a christian church in close vicinity to Aushwitz Birkenau, Poland. Developers owned the land and had every right to open it at the given location. THe pope considered the idea, and decided to scrap the concept because he felt that it was insensitive and would bring on an unwanted end effect. Perhaps an attitude, some could learn from.

The forum is titled, "Farrakhan Supports Planned Mosque Near Ground Zero." You and took the position is wrong to build a mosque near ground zero. I stated it is not wrong to build a mosque near ground zero. Therefore, I posted comments showing how it is hypocritical for Caucasian Americans Catholics or Christians to stand on false grounds. To stand on positions their history does not support.

Furthermore, "my perceived notion," how you can think for me. You are included - the whole truth is neither biased or prejudiced - it is just the truth. For the record, I mentioned Caucasian of the Jewish Faith, Muslims and Hindus too so what is next - you calling me a racist?

Lastly, it does show wisdom for the pope to refrain from building a church in Germany near a killing field his church assisted/ignored. The pope knows the significant role the Vatican played in killing of countless Caucasians of the Jewish Faith. Therefore, to compare the two is truly apples and oranges.
