Are italians really white?

And the Greeks are also Latino looking people.

i'm from naples and:
1)give us the proof (scientific) that italians have african ancestry..
2)what do you mean with "latino"???

Ps : i see more red hair in naples than when i was in berlin...

i think you contradicted yourself.. you said that "true" italians look more like latinos.. right? well, are latinos white? no.. then how can you say that italians are white people?
and i dont have to go to italy.. if you would have read my post, my father is not american/italian.. both his parents are from italy.. makin them 100% italian born and raised.. i would not look at my father and say he is white, sorry

there isnt just "white and black" or "caucasian and african american" there are so many more nationalities.. would you call a jewish person white? or an arab? i wouldnt.. but this is only my opinion..

here is a man from Egypt who was forced to be racially classified as Caucasian as all North Africans are classified.
So what does white/caucasian mean. Nothing.
People are classified as white/caucasian because of where they are from in the World. Not by what they look like or ancestry.

Italians, along with all other medetarannian whites tend to look darker than british whites, that is no lie, but they are still white people, by race definition, go to italy and ask any person what race they are and see what they say. My ex was italian, straight from italy, he was fine, he had olive skin and black hair, but he is white and that is what he called himself, you can't say somebody isn't white because they are dark with curly hair, that would be like saying somalians, eritreans and ethiopians are not black because they look different from west africans, and if meds are 2 per cent black, there is no way they are not white, just like how alot of afro americans have alot of mixed heritage, but they are still classified as black. Also it is almost impossible for pure blacks to have green eyes,although there are exceptions as I am from west africa myself, but I have heard that there is a tribe in nigeria where a few people have green eyes.the reson alot of afro americans have green eyes is due to race mixing where from recent mixing or going way back.

Italians, Spaniards, Potugese and Greeks all have African ancestry. But they are classified as white/caucasian. But North Africans and Arabs and Iranians and Turks and even East Indians are white/caucasian.
Culturally I classify Southern Europeans as white because of shared history with Europe, but for the other caucasians in Africa and Asia I don't see them as white.
Racial classfication is confusing. Some people think that this new dna classification is better, but is not. All race classifications is flawed.
