Are italians really white?

I've read many times that Italians have black Ancestry if they do according to the one drop rule wouldnt that make them black?

The truth is Greeks migrated to The pensuila near rome and popuated it.

So Italians are really greek. Romans,or italians moved to France,and germany.

The one drop rule is utterly pointless since everybody has a drop of black blood in them as as all humans came from Africa. It would more validly apply to a person whose 4/4,3/4,1/2 black and not 1/4, 1/8,1/16, black.

please dont hold these types of threads against all black people. Please judge them individually.

actually you american people have a misconception of med people,
for the most part the italians ive seen in america do look white,but if you come to europe and go to meditterean countries you will see that the meds in europe look completely diffrent to the american italians,
alot of meds look black some look white,its the same as latins ,in the uk med people are not classed as white,dark hair dark eyes dark skin,diffrent features,we should be put in the latina catorgory,not white,(most meds look latin anyway,)

tommy you crack me up babe,if only you came to europe,and see how alot of greeks look,one of my oldest friends is greek,she looks far from white IN FACT SHE LOOKS MORE ASIAN OR MORROCAN,her brother dated a white girl,and when her dad came home and saw him,he told his daughter to get that n***r out of his house...but HES GREEK???

Whether you like it or not, it's known that some "Southern Italians" have African blood in them, but that's not true about all Italians. Which Italian doesn't already know this?

i've heard they do for years.half of italians don't look all white.look at someone like tony danza.

and of course there's a belief that the moors,who are believed to be black,conquered sicily and those areas.

I've seen brown looking asians before. Some asians look white,some have color to them.

Some whites are very pale, some aren't, Some have more of a darker shade.

Some blacks are dark,some are light skinned.

White is still white.

I am 100% Italian.Italians are different,we are considered white but we are in class of our own.

You made a very good point there. A lot of the American people here have never been out of the country, but are quick to think they are "cultured", which as you can see for yourself is not the case. Most of their views are based on assumptions.
