The following is my stance on illegal immgrants in the U.S. and Canada. And let me state, I don't care if you're from Mexico, China, Africa, Ireland or England ffs. Just GTFO!

First of all, no sensationalist b.s. and stick to the issues. Don't take one thing and call it another, and don't try to turn this into an issue of morality, IT'S NOT! Morality and what's right and wrong have absolutely NOTHING to do with this.

This isn't a moral issue, it's a LEGAL issue, it's an issue of LAW. And the law says, if you wish to become a citizen of one of the most prosperous nations on earth, whether it be the U.S. or Canada, you must do so legally. I'm having an extremely tough time trying to grasp some people's logic on this issue.

Imagine me breaking into your house and when you find me, I tell you that I have the RIGHT to be there, kick my feet up, use your electricity & heat and eat all your food. When you ask me to leave, I tell you that you need to take me to court if you wish to have me removed from your property. Exactly. That's just asinine isn't it? Well that's what's going on right now in the U.S. and believe it or not, Canada.

You can't waltz into a foreign country and start demanding "rights" that you're not entitled to and refuse to follow the law. Why don't people go to China, or Russia and try that sh!t? I know why, because they would probably end up spending a large portion of the remainder of thier lives in a Russian/Chinese prison. No demonstrations in the street, no protests, no news coverage and no opportunity to whine about how the government is infringing upon your "rights".

It isn't productive or beneficial to have mass amounts of illegal immigrants breaching your country's borders and reaping the benefits from a system that they are not contributing to. It's counter-productive and unfair to the nation's citizens. It isn't fair that they are taking up resources that could benefit others who have the LEGAL and BIRTHRIGHT to live in their homeland.

So what do you think?

The American work force let the Banks and Corporations dictate wages and taxes by not Lobbying Congress with our own Unions.

Now we have to ask ourselves 1. Do I want to pay $5.00 or $15.00 for ONE TOMATO? or 2. Do I want to work in Mexico?

This issue is much deeper than it seems. Those immigrants were farmers in Mexico.

I hear you but I also don't think that gives them the power to supersede national law.

I have much sympathy for them. I'm not saying that we should just let ALL illegals just come in and act like everything is just fine, but I have a lot of compassion for them. They have been through so much and risked their lives because they are so desperate. I feel so bad for them and have much scorn for the people who have exploited them and other immigrants. :(

I also think the term anchor baby is funny, because most of the people using that term are anchor babies themselves.

if they wern't exploited, and worked for decent wages then there would be no point in them being here lol. thats why all the politicians (no matter what they say) and the rich want them here. it's cheap labor. soon they will say our economy couldn't work without them like they do in europe (meaning the rich wouldn't make quite as much if they paid actual citizens to do the work).

all of these politicians will have their day though. just like the judge and the brain dead btch in tucson.

Not only that Grey December, but they make an excellent voting block for the same politicians who are exploiting them.

There's your problem. The illegal situation wasn't started by the common farmer just like all the wars. Illegals are puppet slaves and just when they think they've made nice with our Corporate Land Owning Giants ol Mr. Moneybucks yanks them off the stage and replaces them with yet another 3rd world mishap.

American citizens can count the years of National stability on one hand.

I'm sorry I have zero sympathy for them. That's like me saying about the guy who broke into my house that I feel bad for him because he was hungry and needed somewhere warm to sleep. So forget the fact that he smashed my back porch window to get in and that I'll be the one who has to pay for it because I feel sorry for his homeless a$$. Screw that, this is exactly what they are counting on is for people to get emotional about this issue instead of logical.

I for one, refuse to look at this issue through emotions. Like I said this isn't a moral issue, but a legal one. Besides that, why don't they show some pride and dignity and just leave! Or is it better if it gets to the point where the Federal Government has to step in? Or how about a law that gives the immigration authorities the right to kick down their doors and drag them to the airport kicking and screaming?

I think I feel more sorry for the American and Canadian children who's educations are suffering because there are so many kids in their class that they can't get the individual attention they need to succeed. Or the single mother who can't find a job to support her kids because the illegals are taking the only jobs that many of them are qualified and willing to do.

Again, I hear you and I understand what you're saying but I have to respectfully disagree. When they decided to cross the border illegally, they knew they were taking a calculated risk. They decided to take that chance even after careful estimation of the probable outcome.

Well that's the thing about a calculated risk, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. I cannot nor will I sympathize with someone who decided to take a calculated risk and had it blow up in their face. They knew the outcome of their situation would be bad if they were caught. I'm sure they knew that it was extremely probable that these things would backfire on them one day.
