The Bridge: Black Men Hate Black Women

Interesting article. I don't feel it is my position as a black man to tell a woman what to do with her body. I enjoy looking at the women in the video and find nothing wrong with it. The women in the videos are paid for what they do, and are there because they want to be there. yes there is a market for it so that is why they are there, but it is still their choice. Just like you hear women complaining that in music they are refered to as bi*@hes and hoes, but then you hear a woman in the car next to you blasting the song and enjoying the music. I think people in general are too sensitive. It is like when someone says something that upsets you, you get upset because it pertains to you and it is truthful so people want to defend their actions. If you are not a bi*@h or a hoe, you should not be upset by this music. Listen to JAY-Z's song, sistas vs bi*@ches. When y ou live trif people call you out on it and if the shoe fits wear it, or buy your own (meaning change your ways)

Black men do hate Black women. You want to talk about Black women choosing to be in those videos, how about talking about why Black men make it an avenue for them in the first place? Don't tell me you ingrate Black men think these women force their way into the video? They are answering auditions and calls from Black men and Black execs who make it fashionable to degrade Black women. If Black men wanted modesty and respect for Black women they would demand it in their videos because after all it is their video and they have that choice. But the want to see Black women degraded so they keep their mouths closed.

I want an honest answer from you. What do you think of the HUNDREDS of youtube black women shacking their azz for the world to see.

These girls are in their own room. They choose to make these videos. Nobody is forcing them to open an account on Youtube, and shake their azz. They are doing this with their own free will.

I guess black men force them to register with youtube, and upload these videos also. Woman Please.

No, black men do not hate black women. Hating black women would be insisting they stay covered so no one can view them. Hating them would be to take away the choice for them to appear in videos or practically anything where they can be seen.

I don't really think these video are a big deal. We see white women all the time in porn and "Girls Gone Wild" videos. Nobody says a word. Now R. Kelly gets acquitted and all of a sudden black men are guilty of hating black women?

That's crap and you knew it when you wrote it. That's like me trying to blame McDonald's for all the fat people in there eating. Nobody makes these women get on stage and demean themselves. Who cares what kind of casting call went out? If they had any respect for themselves they wouldn't have answered it. Then these same women want their men to take the wrap for them being objectified. Then they take it further and want to be treated respectfully like adults in society. Then they take it further yet again and try and claim that THEY are the real liberated, strong black women and that the others who choose not to shake their asses soon as the beat drops, aren't. A little bit of accountability would go a long way with these types of women, imo...

Also: In general, people will only give you as much respect as you make them give you. These girls need to get a grip.

I'd say women in general like to complain about men. It's not fair to single out black women here when it comes to bashing men. I've painfully sat through Women's Studies classes in college where the topics were "male as norm" and how we've all dissed the women.

THEY ARE DOING IT BECAUSE THESE BLACK MEN HAVE CREATED AN AVENUE FOR IT. THEY HAVE MADE IT THE ONLY WAY TO GET MALE ATTENTION. And since as we all know Black male run out on their daughters and sons and basically give them no hope from the beginning because they have no male figure in their lives, they are going to seek that male attention out in ridiculous ways. It all comes down to Black men caring about what their dicks tell them to do and nothing else. That is why they abandon their kids. lmao. Read my question, and then look at your response. You will see just how ridiculous your statement really is.

You should do some research. Check out some of these disgusting videos, but instead of looking at the girls. Check out their environment.

Examine the Closed locked door. Examine the teddy bears. Examine the diplomas on the wall. The majority of these girls are from good stable homes. They are college educated women. They are not Ghetto Hood rats. Yet they are still shaking their azz on youtube.

If you would be honest with yourself for one second and actually watch. You would see that I'm right.

Is this the kind of ignorance some of the women in our community have swimming around in their heads on a daily basis? How about you stop making excuses for your sisters and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. Hmm lets see, Black men deceive women openly and purposely and then blame Black women for believing them. Black men run out on their children and then blame Black women for having them with them. Black men pour millions of dollars into the degradation of Black women and then blame Black women for participating in it without acknowledging the fact that they are cheering on the sidelines for it. Black men don't graduate and then blame Black women for their lack of education (because of course the Black mother who stuck around is to blame for this and not the absent Black father). Black men don't get jobs and blame Black women for teaming up with white men and taking their jobs (pathetic). Warning, you're right, black women DON'T want to take any responsibility for the choices they make in their lives.
