It's much worse than the two other cities I've spent the most of my last 15 years in -- San Diego and Portland, OR. Here I sit in my dinky office, looking out a window the size of a microwave oven, it's pissing down rain, and the line of cars on the freeway below is dead-stop. With zero traffic, I can drive fom here to my house -- about 17 miles, in 25 minutes. Were I to leave right now, it would take me well over an hour-and-a-half. So here I sit with you ugly Negroes and my human friends, hehehe...

None where I live in the suburbs north of Seattle. That being said, I don't actually go downtown much these days with 3 young kids and a wife at home. Truthfully, I did not think Seattle would be so much wetter and colder than my former home of Portland only 200 miles to the south. We made the decision to move here last year (we've been here since February) for two reasons: I was given an opportunity career-wise that is already paying off, and we had a buyer for our house and property about 20 minutes east of Portland. It really is as simple as that. BTW -- the freeway (405) is still dead-stopped...

Trust me, I know from experience; I bought my house in 2004 for $277k.Similar homes are selling for less than half of what I paid

Well, the good news is that real estate is very expensive here. The house we purchased cost more than the one we sold in Portland and is about half the size! I'm not terribly happy about that, btw... Anyway, when we were house-hunting we played the school district gambit. You find the scholl district with the fewest colored and search within it. That's what we did... Sorry to hear about your situation. Trust me, we grew up as "pollywogs" (Navy brats), and spent plenty of time in Negro-infected areas, so I know what you're sayin'...
