I'd be inclined to say yes. If you fight that hard for a meal you're going to make a point of eating what you can of it. The hard part may be getting thru the tough hide on the croc. But thats like a safe in the bank,once you get past the outside whats,inside is worth it. LOL

Do an elephant for me!! I love them. I just feel so sorry for them when they mourn the loss of a loved one. It is soo human like!

That's because Lions HATE Hyenas and kill them just to do it.

As for the leopard, I'm sure she ate him and then stored him up in a tree for safe keeping. I think that leopards can carry 5 times their body weight (I think) up a tree.

Up a tree? more than likely,its their habit. Now who WOULDN'T kill a hyena? LOL Like my cats and dog at home kill moles but won't touch them. I think it is a predator thing with the lions,also hyenas will kill any cubs or wounded lions they find.

Hyenas are ruthless bastards and get what they deserve LOL the thing about hyenas is that it is a female society, the females are bigger and stronger than the males. They have both sexual organs as well though I don't think the penis works....:/

I've always loved this documentary because these lion wore their behinds out daily.

Lions are like the quarterbackers while Leopards are like football (soccer) players. Lions are so conditioned to their status-they kinda are sloppy compared to the other big cats who have to work twice as hard just to eat. Personally, I'm a Tiger-fan. Did you see the documentary when they attempted to train two Siberian Tigers, from captivity, to survive on the African Plains? It was funny watching this man try to show these cubs how to hunt and kill their prey. I kinda wonder how they are doing now and if they'll introduce more Tigers to Africa. The lions will really have a run for their money then!
