My BAD EXPERIENCE IN Mass.

When I was in Massachusetts about a year ago I was with my boyfriend all alone and he went to work so I decided to get my nails done up the street. When I walked in the Whole Vibe changed..See many people think we as black people are paranoid about racism but no WE CAN FEEL IT..All the women in there were White, asian, and Hispanic I was the only black girl that came in and they looked so Uncomfortable.

It really hurt my feelings but I pretended not to notice. The asian man that was doing my nails in my opinion was rushing a little bit. I just find it funny how people say black women are jealous of this and that woman..thats not true..I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO THOSE PEOPLE AND I DON'T LIKE HOW I RECIEVED...In many cases other races of women have an attitude first so naturally some of us have this attitude back.

Many other races of women are horrible when they see BW with a man of another race..It don't even matter what race he is..I got the dirty looks my man wasn't white and white women stared, hispanic etc..See IN SOME OF THEIR MINDS THEY THINK THEY ARE BETTER AND THEY ARE PREJIDUCE..

SO PLEASE PEOPLE, STOP THINKING OTHER RACES OF WOMEN ARE NICE..BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT!

Hey Princess Star. I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience you had, but you should know that maybe the non-black women from Boston, MA were not all prejudice. I will admit that us blacks may come of a bit to paranoid about racism since we've experienced a great deal of it from non-blacks for centuries and all, but you're right when you say that we can feel it or easily see it in front of our own eyes. Whenever a non-black gives you a stink eye, moves away from you, doesn't speak to you or etc. those right there are the tall tell characteristics of prejudice coming from them. Your experience proves that these women are intimidated by and envious of black women and it's as if they love seeing us black men and black women fighting amongst each other and be lonely and miserable with none of each other to love. That's why I'm very cautious of making friends with non-black females, as I let them befriend me and not them as I see that as a proof of a non-black female not being racist or prejudice.

TRUE..........also its annoying whenever you go the asian nail shop they always ask "what do you do?" I don't see them asking the white women whats their career...

I've longed said that other races of women are not necessarily nice they are just sneaky as hell especially white and latina women. They are often times just nice to black men. Sometimes they remind me of a crazy person that when they are infront of yall mutual friend they are sweet as pie and as soon as they live the room they turn into the devil. When you try to tell the mutual friend how the other person gets down they just don't see it because the person doesn't act like that towards them. they might even accuse you of being jealous not knowing how this person is when they are not around. Ofcourse this doesn't apply to ever white women, I know some that are not like that. I don't want any captains save-a-white woman to start with that bullshit.

you are thinking of Lowell. That is way north of Boston close to the New Hampshire border line. When you come to MA it is best to stay in the city. Anything outside the city is just trashy burbs.

Massachusetts is a pretty big size state. Where you in the Western part (by NY & Conn such as Amherst, Springfield, Holyoke, etc), Central part (Framingham, Worchester) or the Eastern part (by the ocean such as Boston, Cambridge, Brockton, Dorchester, Roxbury, etc.)?

A lot of the areas are now very diversed so listing the prodominately races doesn't really help.

Yeah, NH gave me my first experience of being followed around in a store because we were black. lol Even my mom was like, WTF?!? They always act like they've never seen a person of color before. See, thay show it to us in overt ways, the other, sane women don't notice because it's not directed at them. Then, when you SAY something about it, it looks like you're just trippin out...that's one of the reasons people really think BW have this terrible attitude...we always SAY something instead of sneakin' around....it's a misconception, and anybody of any race who is around a lot of people on the daily will tell you that although we're often loud as hell with it, we're no more (maybe less) mean than any other group of women....

..I saw a clip where a brotha talked about approaching a sista, and she snapped for no reason..he said he's never seen a white girl act that way - it was crazy
