McCain's Economic Ignorance: It's the Economic Stupidity, Stupid

Mr. McCain still doesn’t understand that we can’t send troops to Afghanistan unless they’re shifted from Iraq. But simple math, to put it charitably, has never been his forte. When it comes to the central front of American anxiety — the economy — his learning curve has flat-lined.

McSame or NObama? A re-run of 2000 and 2004. Two lousy choices!

Hey NY Times, your stories suck, your socialistic ranting is arcaic and your biased reporting has now given you a drop in profits of 82%. You have made your stock holders proud. Sesame Street has more information than you clowns. You may as well sell out to George Soros, because you sure carry his water.

Obama is a good person, and would be an extremely good President. While I don't agree with his position on a few issues.... he is the better choice between McSame and himself, by an infinitude.

Obviously being pompous and high above the fray is catching on...every two-bit journalist and bozo under the sun is suddenly mimicking the astute know-it-all jackass General Barack Obama.
Apparently all it takes to sidestep military service and go straight to the rank of General is to be a community organizer and junior senator then fly to Iraq and like magic you're in command of the entire operation, advising everyone from Maliki to General Petraeus.
So all this arrogance permeating the airwaves is rubbing off...expect the forum's socialist's to be flexing their mealy mouths and lending their two-cents. We’ll se them standing tall on a platform advising John McCain like he’s the candidate who is an inept pathetic gutless buffoon who voted against the mission in Iraq and voted against the surge…On second thought, Obama and his despicable treasonous dirty diaper democRat ilk do not have a platform.

What do you expect from Mr. ONE PERCENT of the BOTTOM of his graduating class. No wonder Phil Gramm looks like a genius to him. I guess his accomplishment as a pilot; is that he lost FIVE planes, paid by the American tax payers.

Johnny might be interested in reading this WSJ Marketwatch article about how his heroes destroyed free market capitalism:
11 reasons America's a new socialist economy
How free market ideology backfired, sabotaging capitalistic democracy
Welcome to the conservative's worst nightmare: The law of unintended consequences. Why? Nobody wants to admit it, folks, but the conservatives' grand ideology is backfiring, actually turning the world's greatest capitalistic democracy into the world's newest socialist economy.
A little history: The core principles of conservative economic ideology are grounded in Nobel economist Milton Friedman's 1962 classic "Capitalism and Freedom." Too late to stop President Lyndon Johnson's Great Society, those principles became the battle cries energizing conservatives since Reagan: Unrestricted free markets, free enterprise and free trade; deregulation, privatization and globalization; trickle-down economics and trickle-up wealth to an elite plutocracy destined to rule the new American capitalist utopia.
So what happened? Are you guys nuts? Hey, I'm talking to all you blind Beltway politicians (in both parties)... plus the Old Boys Club running Wall Street (into the ground)... plus all you fat-cat CEOs (with megamillion parachutes)... and all your buddies scamming everybody else to get on the Forbes 400. You are proof of Lord Acton's warning: "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
It's backfiring! You folks turned our America from a great capitalistic democracy into a meddling socialist economy. Still you don't get it. You're acting like teen addicts tripping on an overdose of "greed-is-good" testosterone while your caricature of conservative economics would at best make a one-line joke on Jay Leno.
Here are 11 reasons your manipulations are sabotaging the great principles of leaders like Friedman and Reagan:
1. Dumber than a fifth grader with cognitive dissonance
2. Where did all the leaders go with their moral character?
3. Fed and U.S. Treasury adopted Enron accounting tricks
4. Deregulation creating new socialist housing system
5. Trade deficits outsourced more of America's wealth than jobs
6. Banking system in meltdown, minting penny stocks
7. Ideologues preach savings, but still push spending
8. Warning, the market's under 2000 peak, losing money
9. Inflation and dollars: Is Zimbabwe the new model for the U.S.?
10. Free-market health care failing 47,000,000 Americans
11. Conservative free-market policies inflated oil 300%!

Of course, the socialism created thus far represents only the transfer of wealth to the wealthy, propping up their failing businesses and declining purchasing power with funds transferred from the Treasury and the lower 95% of the population. The bottom 50% of earners (those making under +/-$40,000 per year) have access to 12% of the nation's weath, while the top 1% controls 55% of the nation's wealth) makes it impossible to see a way for the free market to solve the nation's fiscal problems. Still, the solutions proposed thus far by Barack Obama involve heavy regulation and federal funding of private business to stimulate the economy and solve national problems. He may be the last best hope for the survival of large scale capitalism in the US. I think the WSJ is recognizing that.

McCain's vast ignorance of the economy extends throughout every area of his public life. In addition to his economic ignorance, he has demonstrated that in his world, Czechoslovakia still exists, Putin is the president of Germany, Iraq shares a border with Pakistan, Sunni AQ is supported and trained by Shiite Iran (repeated at least 4x over 6 weeks), Social Security is an "absolute disgrace" because the working generations fund current retirement benefits (it always has been funded this way) and numerous foreign policy flip flops on torture and talking to Hamas, among many others. When you add this to his refusal to learn the Internet, undistinguished Senate and Navy career, and repeated misstatements of facts in speeches, town halls and press conferences, you see a picture of an man who is at best disinterested in the world, at worst unable to comprehend it, or possibly willing to lie and manipulate facts for political benefit. Remind you of anyone? Do we need another one of the GOP's B team in the White House? Does the GOP even have an A team?

Good for Frank Rich of the New York Times to represent the liberal hordes that are celebrating the economic difficulties that US is facing from the radical Islamic regimes, Russia and Venezuela that gives the un-American New York Times so much happiness.
Evidently, The New York Times supports the sharp and unprecedented increase in oil price by US worst enemies because it is bad to American people and could lead to recession before the elections, unless US will follow President Bush and McCain policy of US energy independence that the New York Times hates.
The new York times is celebrating the real estate foreclosures that is clearly a result of Bill Clinton’s 1996 Community Act that forced banks to ‘go wild’ and reckless as liberals do and act like 'drunken sailor’s giving mortgages to unemployed poor people without any money down and with subprime interest only to help the poor that cannot pay back any loan and to drug the US banking system to bankruptcy.
The New York Times proved time and again that it is anti-American self-hating media that is mostly successful in serving the interests of the Islamic terrorist suicide bombers under Osama Bin Laden and Ahmadinajad by publishing top secrets.
The refusal of the New York Times to publish John McCain’s piece prove that the New York Times is Socialistic Marxist media that reminds the censorship of the KGB era in Russia.
The New York Times is the new Russian famous newspaper Pravda that used by the Russian evil regime in the most the Stalinist ways to silence ‘the enemies of socialism’ namely John McCain.

You can't be seriously blaming anyone but America and Americans on the current economy.
Evidently, The New York Times supports the sharp and unprecedented increase in oil price by US worst enemies because it is bad to American people and could lead to recession before the elections, unless US will follow President Bush and McCain policy of US energy independence that the New York Times hates.
First, the US has been in a recession since the turn of the millenium. Second, drilling for more oil will in no way provide us with energy independence. Third, the increase in the price of oil is no way anyone's fault but the Federal Reserve's since it is the Fed who is printing money 24x7 and devaluing the dollar.
As much as I'd like to blame Bill Clinton, it goes back farther than that and here in Florida where we've had a -R Governor for 12 years who has allowed felons of all sorts to write mortgages in the state which is totally against the law. Not quite what I would call effective oversight.
The New York Times proved time and again that it is anti-American self-hating media that is mostly successful in serving the interests of the Islamic terrorist suicide bombers under Osama Bin Laden and Ahmadinajad by publishing top secrets.
As opposed to -R administration employees who out covert intelligence people? Hmmmm.
The refusal of the New York Times to publish John McCain’s piece prove that the New York Times is Socialistic Marxist media that reminds the censorship of the KGB era in Russia.
Apparently you don't watch TV news enough. As well, it's a good bet that John McCain did not write anything, but a lobbyist/advisor did.

Yes, and thanks to the Republicans we don't have a viable economy unless we bail out treasonous dirty diaper Republicrooks whose only platform is stealing more of the American people's money.

What will we get with McCain?
100 years of paying for Iraq, 100 years paying for Afghanistan, FISA, open borders and larger government.

What will we get with Obama?
100 years paying for Iraq, 100 years paying for Iran, FISA, open borders and larger government.

Why not look at another candidate?
