Put your darn political party loyalties aside. This failure by the Bush adminstration is reprehensible. McCain would have never let that happen had he been elected in 2000, nor would Clinton (who actually took the time to pursue Bin Laden, even though he didn't succeed).
These Bush guys wouldn't have let any this happen either, except for the fact that it allows them to keep people in fear, push forward their attrocious social and economic policies, and keep extending the war for who knows what, buy more time to lock in everybody to the oil based economy, and let the oil and military corporations control our country. They are in it for themselves. Perhaps McCain or Obama can make a change from this situation.
