NBC Sports to Present Formula One at Singapore Grand Prix, 9/21

NBC Sports Group continues its presentation of the 2014 Formula One season "under the lights" this weekend, with comprehensive coverage of the Singapore Grand Prix across NBCSN, CNBC and NBC Sports Live Extra. Live race coverage begins Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN, and is followed by F1 Extra, NBC Sports Group's F1 post-race show, at 10 a.m. ET.

Vettel, Red Bull deny Alonso seat swap

Sep.16 Before the long-haul flight to Singapore, world champion Sebastian Vettel and his team have denied the latest sensational 'silly season' rumour. Germany's Sport Bild reports on Tuesday that dissatisfied Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso could take Vettel's place at Red Bull for 2015, in a straight 'swap' deal with the fabled Maranello team.

Mercedes F1 Names Pascal Wehrlein As Reserve Driver

Amid reports of problems between their main drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team has named 19-year-old Pascal Wehrlein as their reserve driver. "Aside from Nico and Lewis, he is the driver most familiar with all the procedures of our F1 W05 Hybrid and therefore the right choice for the role of reserve driver," Toto Wolff, Head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport said via the official Formula1 website .
