Lowe wants drama-free Singapore GP

Paddy Lowe is hoping for a drama-free weekend for Mercedes in Singapore after too many negative headlines in recent weeks. In the Belgian GP the team made headlines when Nico Rosberg crashed into Lewis Hamilton while a race later in Italy they was forced to deny manipulating the race result to make amends for Belgium.

Magnussen hit with another stewards' penalty at Monza

Kevin Magnussen endured another heartbreaking end in Monza after being hit with an aggressive driving penalty for the second race running. McLaren's Dane was duelling with Valterri Bottas with a third of the Italian Grand Prix to go and when the pair entered the first chicane at the high-speed Italian track, Magnussen was judged to have pushed the Williams driver off the track.

Lewis: Nico boos made me feel awkward

Ferrari and McLaren, historically Formula One's two most successful teams, have had little to cheer about on the track of late and it could be some time before things get much better. If there is less evident concern at Woking than in Maranello, that is because McLaren feel they now have the main pieces of the puzzle in place whereas Ferrari have plenty of uncertainty ahead of them.

Button, race steward reject 'stupid theory'

Jenson Button and Derek Warwick are the latest to dismiss suggestions that Nico Rosberg gifted the Italian GP victory to Lewis Hamilton. Rosberg had a comfortable lead early on at Monza after getting quicker off the line than his Mercedes team-mate, but he twice missed the first chicane at Variante del Rettifilio.
