The article says that rumor had it the team wanted to switch to Toyota engines, and scrap the contract with Cosworth. Myself, I think that it is rather fitting for Team Made In America to be using Toyota engines :)
But - Toyota announced this morning they are pulling out of F1. That leasve Team Made in America committed to Coswort. Where else would get get an engine? This kind of technology simply does not exist in the U.S. of A.(a 2.4-liter engine that revs up to 18000 rpm and makes 800 HP). |
