Texans' released draft pick finds a home in New England
The Texans took nose tackle Chris Jones in the sixth round of the draft last spring with the 198th pick overall, but he failed to show enough during the preseason to carve out a roster spot and the team let him go in the final cut Aug. 31. Tampa Bay briefly gave Jones a look before also releasing him.
Everyone from J.J. Watt and Terrell McClain to Ben Jones and DeVier Posey said the same thing.
Seahawks edge Texans
The Houston Texans, coming off a disappointing loss to the World Champion Baltimore Ravens, were back at Reliant Stadium in Houston Sunday afternoon taking on Russell Wilson and the undefeated 3-0 Seattle Seahawks.
