Funny how things happen in life, because the Bears have been looking for a great passer for decades, and they get one due to a rift between Denver's new coach and Jay Cutler.
God knows Bears fans realize it's only preseason, but Cutler is almost a proven commodity, and he seems capable of doing the impossible; giving the defense a chance to be rested for the stretch run. Now I see the wisdom of Jerry Angelo saying the teams fortunes ride on the quaterback. Cutler's ability to create points transforms the offense, but his endzone to endzone drives may transform the defense as well. |
