Even I, a person who disdains football, know that the UFL will fail miserably. We need an NFL team from a well established NFL. Not some upstart league!

The San Diego Chargers should just become the unofficial L.A. team. They spent their first season in Los Angeles (1960) before moving south. They had similar uniform colors as our dearly missed Rams - at times they looked practically identical (late 70'/early 80's). They are "SoCal". Just a little more "So" than where we live in L.A.

But they should stay in San Diego. The Clippers should have stayed and I hope the Padres stay too.

Actually, the Chargers ARE the original Los Angeles team. They played in Los Angeles for their very first AFL season in 1960, and then headed south to S.D. the following year.

The Raiders are by NO stretch of the imagination L.A.'s "original" team. The Raiders spent about a dozen seasons (1982-1994) down in L.A., before and after which they spent in Oakland. They are the OAKLAND Raiders.

Personally, I'd love to see the Rams back in town. They were originally from Cleveland, but spent something like FIFTY YEARS in L.A.(roughly 1946 to 1994, I think) They were killer in the 70's and pretty good during the 80's too. OH MY RAMS - HOW I MISS THEE!!!

The UFL might do alright. They have a better business plan than the XFL, so time will tell. I'll probably go to the Home Depot Center game.

As for the Raiders, I doubt they would move back here, more likely the'll share a stadium with the 49ers up north like the Jets and Giants in Jersey.

The Rams are for sale, but they are locked in St. Louis until 2015.

Probably will be the Chargers if San Diego can't get them a new stadium

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Gemini

Your eleventh house of friends and associates is activated by the Moon in Aries and it's time to go out and play with your friends. Even the Twins, who have been somewhat reclusive lately, will benefit from socializing tonight. A sense of relief will take hold when you realize that no one really has a better life than you. Sure, it might seem like someone else has a more glamorous existence, but if you could be a fly on the wall in their bedroom, you'd find they have nightmares, too!
