Cincinnati Bengals: Week 13 Report Card
As a life-long fan who has suffered through many miserable football seasons, I am just happy to see my team winning games.
Benson tops 100, Bengals beat Lions 23-13
Cedric Benson ran himself into a little bit of Cincinnati Bengals history. The running back returned from a two-game layoff because of an injured hip and tied the team record with his fifth 100-yard game of the season on Sunday, setting up a 23-13 victory over the Detroit Lions that had even greater significance for the franchise.
The defense brought to life a tomb-like Paul Brown Stadium, but the offense had it booing again even though Shayne Graham a s 44-yard field goal with nine seconds left in the first half gave them a 17-7 lead over the Lions.
