Well, the move the Seattle Seahawks were anticipated to make for weeks finally happened today, as head coach Jim Mora announced that cornerstone offensive tackle Walter Jones has been placed on the season-ending injured reserve list today.

Seahawks add a player ... but not Edge

The Seahawks made a roster move on Tuesday, but not quite the one expected. While the waiting game on Edgerrin James continued , offensive lineman Grey Ruegamer was waived to make room for offensive lineman Brian De La Puente, who was claimed off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Seahawks lose Spencer to leg injury for a month

Seahawks center Chris Spencer is out at least a month for a torn thigh muscle. Coach Jim Mora told Seattle radio station KJR on Monday morning that Spencer tore the quadriceps muscle in his left leg and will 'absolutely' miss at least the first two regular season games.
