Ex-Jet Mike Goodson's gun case is delayed again
MORRISTOWN - Former Jets running back Mike Goodson's court case was delayed again today, but court officials said the hearing on his weapons possession charge is expected to be heard at his next appearance, scheduled for Nov. 6. Goodson, 27, and his co-defendant, Garant Evans, 32, of Roselle, are both scheduled to appear in court that day and attorneys are expected to argue over whether a loaded .45 caliber Taurus handgun seized from the glove box of their stopped SUV on May 17, 2013 may be admitted as evidence. The pair were arrested on Route 80 in Denville after, State Police said, they found the pair in the SUV stopped in the center lane.
