The New Orleans Saints have signed free agent wide receiver Courtney Roby, who was the primary kickoff returner for the team for five games last year.

In addition to Harrington and Spicer, the Saints released wide receiver/kick returner Courtney Roby and wide receiver Adrian Arrington , a seventh-round draft pick in 2008.

Harrington, who served as the Saints' third-string quarterback last season, could not beat out 39-year-old Mark Brunell for the backup job behind Drew Brees.
