Robert Griffin III Injury Puts Kirk Cousins Among Top Week 3 Waiver-Wire Targets

The NFL is a cruel, unforgiving sport where teams will waste no time mourning its injured stars. Successful fantasy football managers must sadly follow suit and place a claim for Kirk Cousins in wake of Robert Griffin III 's unfortunate ankle injury.

Wake-Up Call: Jaws Thinks Jags Had Beat On Eaglesa Offense

Like most of us, he saw a quarterback on Sunday that didn't seem to be processing information quickly and who was holding onto the ball too long. But Jaws believes there was more to the story; that part of the problem was that Jacksonville had a beat on what the Eagles were doing on offense.

The stuff Eagles did right outweighs what they did wrong

THE DEFICIT was already 14-0 with 5:03 left in the first quarter Sunday, and the three greatest fears about season No. 2 under Chip Kelly had bubbled to the surface: Of course, we all calmed down in the second half, as Cary Williams and Nate Allen put their Rosetta Stone tapes away and began to speak English to each other, and Foles stopped hugging the football as if it were a security blanket, and big plays by Zach Ertz and Jeremy Maclin reassured us that Kelly had not lost his mind when he jettisoned his Pro Bowl receiver last March after his best statistical season.

What Eagles 34-17 win over the Jaguars means

The Eagles were trailing 17-0 at halftime to the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars, quarterback Nick Foles was playing terribly, and the defense was being lit up by a rookie receiver. Head coach Chip Kelly's team was able to avoid disaster, however, and showed some serious guts in turning it around for a 34-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Eagles turn it around in second half to trounce Jaguars

The injury to Mathis appeared hideous, as teammate LeSean McCoy was tackled right into the back of his legs in the second quarter. But running back Darren Sproles jump-started the Eagles' comeback by finding an opening right up the middle near midfield and going 49 yards for a touchdown on a fourth-and-1 play in the third quarter.

Jets, Eagles fans on Twitter call for Michael Vick and Mark Sanchez to replace Geno Smith...

The question: How long did it take for fans of the Jets and Eagles to call for Michael Vick and Mark Sanchez to replace Geno Smith and Nick Foles, respectively, on Twitter? There was also some cross-tweeting, we'll call it, from fans -- Jets die-hards wishing for Sanchez back, Eagles supporters wishing for Vick. Smith's first half miscues included one interception and one fumble lost, while Foles looked positively lost with a pick of his own and two fumbles.
