Coaches Going to the Videotape to Make Quarterback Call
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 3 -- The battle for the final quarterback job on the Redskins' 53-man roster didn't come down to Thursday night after all. Most likely, it will come down to Friday, when coaches gather at Redskins Park and sit down to dissect videotape of the performances posted by Colt Brennan and rookie Chase Daniel.
Coach Jim Zorn said a thorough review is required to 'make heads or tails of the end result,' but both young quarterbacks seemed confident and optimistic following their respective performances in Thursday night's 24-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
