Ya know, this aspect of Cutler bothers me (his chronic health situation)...Type 1 Diabetes is some wicked shite, with both short and long-term health implications.

OK, he's our franchise QB, but really, for how long?

One of my college roommates (an MD with diabetes) guesses that Cutler is on an insulin pump while he's on the sidelines. Nice!

Oh well, fuggit, GO BEARS!!

i dont think he will be a 12-15 season QB, but i would rather focus on what he does as long as he's here. Just because we have Jay, does not mean we should stop developing QB's.

Glad you brought that up! We are pretty damn shallow at QB right now, with only Hanie to back up Cutler, right? Who's our emergency QB?

We should probably draft a QB next time if one becomes available. Of course, with our team's track record....

However, it's time to grow up and learn how to select, draft & develop a winning QB for a change, instead of raiding other teams of their castoffs!

....p*sses me off that Benson is showing some production at long last! I'm still glad he's gone, but that jerk cost us a lot of cap $$$!

There's much merit in your opinion! I thought that Orton FINALLY began to develop when he had a chance to hang out with Brian Griese on the sidelines...remember how closely those guys hung out? Griese had flaws, but he was also a very experienced vet.

BTW, I saw that Orton is AFC Player of the Week! Yow!

Now, what we need THIS season is a legit No. 1 Wide Receiver!! Got any? T.O. would rock!(I wanted Plaxico, but oh well)...

Diabetes is WAY over-rated. He'll be fine...."Whats that?"..."they have to amputate my head?"

Where are we going to find one?
We don't pick till the 3rd round in next years draft.

Yeah, exactly! What we NEED versus what we are likely to get are two different things altogether!!

Man, did the Bengals rip this team or what?? I can't recall a more lifeless game....

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Gemini

It's easy to become distracted and confused because your mind is wandering about in all sorts of different directions. You're also in a highly impressionable state so will believe almost anything you're told now, whether it's true or a total flight of fancy. Be wary of muddling others by only telling them half the story or letting your imagination fill in any gaps.
