The Pittsburgh Steelers cleared some salary cap space by tacking two years onto tight end Heath Miller's contract and converting $5 million of his 2014 base salary into a signing bonus.
Team is $15 million over the salary cap, meaning lots of moves, including either an extension or a paycut for Polamalu, are on the horizon.
