Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

It's not too difficult to put football in its proper place when you've held your dead daughter in your arms.

I can relate to Eric Greens loss of his child. I too have lost a daughter after only three days of her being here with us. I will say it is the saddest event anyone can ever expierience. So keep your head up Eric you now have a new fan!!

I love football, but it's just a game...sorry to hear that about your daughter Eric.

Hard not to root for this guy. He seems very genuine, and it always feels better to root for quality citizens, and not just good players. It seems like that Miami will be better with Will Allen opposite Davis/Smith, but I hope Green sticks as a sub-package guy.

I just hope we have a problem of who's going to start based on several guys having very good camps. Should be better not to start the rookies because one of the vets is tearing it up, and bring the rooks along slower.

I also have grieved for a lost son, but...leave it to Omar Kelly to bring this up so when the dolphins cut him, they'll be the bad guy, not Omar. This kind of reporting is absurd. Like when all of the stories a year ago were about John Beck and his mormon ways, and all of his charity work. A lot of good that got him. Stick to the sports and there performance in the offseason please!

dude relax
there may have been 2 blurbs about Beck. Most atricles centered on his old age.

BTW, it's early June, and I personally know nothing about Green save his bubble gum card.

Dude why the hit on Omar here ? A little Human interest story hasn't hurt anyone. Plus why would O look bad if Green gets cut ? He's a reporter not a Coach. Some thing tells me this is a religious issue for you, and it's not about football at all.

This looks to be the work of JetHag's male boy-lover, hidden from the INS in the double-wide's built in beer cooler trunk!!

Go get a life Sheila, we don't like you, your "parent" doesn't like you, your classmates don't like you, Obama doesn't even like you. Go stand in the corner with a dunce cap on!!

Best wishes to him. There are definitely things in life more important than football.

On the field, though, we will be better off when Davis and Smith are the starters.
