Seahawks' fill-in goes from Frye-ing pan to fire

Brandon Frye has stepped into the fire before. His first college start at Virginia Tech came when a teammate got hurt in one of the final practices before the 2006 Gator Bowl, so Frye was thrust in against All-America defensive end Elvis Dumervil, who'd won the Lombardi and Nagurski awards for Louisville.
